FUNCTIONAL FITNESS

FUNCTIONAL FITNESS

is a classification of training that prepares the body for real-life movements and activities. Also known as functional training. “It trains your muscles to work together and prepares them for daily tasks by simulating common movements you might do at home, at work, or in sports.

Movements such as squatting, reaching, pulling, and lifting will be made easier with functional fitness integrated into your exercise routine.

Functional fitness is focused on building a body capable of doing real-life activities in real-life positions, not just lifting a certain amount of weight in an idealized posture created by a gym machine.

Functional training helps provide you with the strength, stability, and mobility you need to thrive in your life and sports. You use basic functional movement patterns like pushing, pulling, squatting, rotating, carrying and gait patterns—walking and running—every day. Functional training utilizes exercises that improve your movement.*Outdoor Circuit Training*Strength & Conditioning*Core and Flexibility

MILITARY AND FUNCTIONAL FITNESS

 Did you know?:
The military don’t use the gym as a part of their formal training.

Instead, they use functional fitness training to build and maintain astonishing levels of fitness, often with no equipment.

Often referred to as bodyweight training, tactical fitness, or high-intensity functional training, functional fitness is a training style that the military has developed over centuries.

Functional Training

HIIT is definitely better at burning calories and helping you shed unwanted pounds. The biggest reason is the anaerobic form of exercise. It burns more calories than cardio both during and after exercising. ... It basically means that your body continues to burn calories hours after your high-intensity workout is over
